Shivam Autotech Limited is one of the largest manufacturers of transmission gears and shafts in India. The company has been serving a large number of automobile manufacturers as their principal component partner for the past 16 years.

Headquartered in New Delhi, the company employs 3000+ people and qualifies its capabilities to grow and sustain in the fast changing auto component business environ. With experience and expertise par excellence, the company values its customers by delivering value for money both in the national and international auto component markets. Being a leader within the industry having profound experience of one and half decade, the company manufactures a comprehensive range of auto components and accessories that primarily include transmission gears, transmission shafts, alternator components, starter motor components, magneto components and steering components which are being produced through cold, warm and hot forging employing near net shape technology.

Today, the company’s infrastructure spans pan India across 5 strategic locations including Gurgaon, Haridwar, Manesar, Bengaluru and Rohtak. An ISO / TS 16949, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Certified Company, Shivam Autotech’s Unique Selling Proposition lies in the fact that it is among the very few auto component manufacturers in the country today that makes use of the Near Net Shape Technology for Cold and Warm Forging.

Mr. Sunil Kant Munjal  

Mr. Sunil Kant Munjal is the Chairman of Shivam Autotech Limited. He is also the Joint Managing Director of Hero MotoCorp Ltd, and has been recognized by ‘India Today’- India’s largest English Newsmagazine, as one of the “Faces of the Millennium” for business.

Mr. Munjal has received Glob Scot Award from the Scottish Government in September 2012. His name has been inscribed on The Royal Society of Medicine’s Wall of Honour at London in recognition of his contribution to ‘Affordable Healthcare’ as President of Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana in February, 2013. He is also the President of the Ludhiana Sanskritik Samagam, an organization that promotes performing arts across North India. He is also the Founder Chairman of BML Educorp Services and the principal guiding force behind the BML Munjal University and is playing a key role in helping create a unique Higher Education Initiative. He is Member of the Board of Governors of IIT, Ropar in Punjab. He also serves on the President’s Council at the University of Tokyo. He has been appointed by the Punjab Govt. as Chairman of the Board of Governors of Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar in October, 2012.

Mr. Munjal was President of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He is currently a member of Prime Minister’s Council on Trade & Industry that regularly interacts with the Indian Prime Minister on economic issues.

Mr. Neeraj Munjal  

Mr. Neeraj Munjal has been responsible for conceptualizing near net shape forging technology in Shivam Autotech Limited employing cold, warm and hot forging and commissioned its first unit at Binola, Gurgaon in 1999.

He has been spearheading the operations of the company and successfully handles its operations which have brought this company to this level. The company currently has five of its units at different locations in the country. He brings with himself 25 years of rich experience in auto-component sector.

Mr. Munjal specializes in Business Management from Bradford College, England, besides a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. With this vast experience of precision and value engineering, he is proficient to lead a team of engineers to evolve solution to complex manufacturing problems. He also held Chairmanship of CII, Haryana Chapter.

Mrs. Charu Munjal  

Mrs. Charu Munjal holds a Diploma in Textile Designing from Banaras Hindu University. She has gained considerable experience in creative designing and in marketing field. Her experience and energetic approach in marketing related functions enables the Company to actively pursue and seize new Business Development opportunities.

She leads the team of marketing personnel and guides them to identify new marketing initiatives/forge strategies for new business developments and control all associated administration and system-driven operations.

Dr. Anil Kumar Gupta  

Dr. Anil Gupta is a well-respected Engineer cum Scientist, having in depth knowledge of Mechanical and Metallurgical Engineering, with special expertise in Metal Forming Processes, including technology development of light weighted materials and composites.

Dr. Gupta, with his rich experience of 42 year, is capable of creating complex sub-systems, resulting in value addition. He has helped the management in taking the company to higher level.

Dr. Gupta was the Former Director, CSIR-AMPRI, Bhopal and was also the Cluster Director of Engineering Science Cluster of CSIR. He was the member of Research Councils of different engineering laboratories of CSIR. Dr. Gupta was also awarded AICTE-INAE Distinguished Visiting Professorship at the Dept. of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science, IIT, Kharagpur and IIT (BHU), Varanasi. He was Council Member of Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), Executive Council Member, Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology (MPCST), Bhopal. He also held Chairmanship and membership of different committees of Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS). Dr. Gupta held the Vice President, Materials Research Society of India (MRSI), and was also the Chairmen, Materials Research Society of India, Delhi & Bhopal Chapters. Dr. Gupta has guided PhD(Engg) Scholars during his 34 years carrier in CSIR and published large number of National and International Scientific Publications.

Dr. Gupta holds Doctorate in Engineering from University of Delhi. He is the Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering (FNAE), Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), (FIE) and Fellow of Metrology Society of India (FMSI).

Dr. Vinayshil Gautam  

Dr. Vinayshil Gautam is a widely respected consultant and practitioner of Management in India and abroad. Dr. Gautam holds a master's degree in arts from the Patna University and Ph.D. from the Bhagalpur University. Dr. Vinayshil Gautam serves as Professor of Department of Management Studies of Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.

He served as the first Head of the Department of Management Studies of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Having designed and set up the comparative management research programme in Asia, he has contributed to organization management studies, entrepreneurship and start up venture efforts in the institute. Dr. Gautam has served as the Founder Director of IIM (K); Leader of consulting team at IIM (Shillong). He has also contributed to the establishment of the Bharti School of Telecom Engineering and Management.

Dr. Gautam has been a member of a committee of the Central Vigilance Commission and the Chairman of the All India Board of Management Education. He is the recipient of many national and international honors including the G-51 Millennium Award, Bharat Gaurav Award, Shiksha Ratan Puraskar and DMA Achievement Award etc. He is a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society, London.

Mr. Surrinder Lal Kapur  

Mr. Surrinder Lal Kapur is a practicing Advocate with specialization in Company Law and Industrial Laws relating to Sick Industries, Industrial Finance, Acquisitions and Mergers. He holds a post graduate degree in Mathematics and is a graduate in Law from Punjab University.

He has completed his training in public administration from the National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. He has a practical experience in banking and promotion of industrial investments. He works as an honorary adviser to the President, PHDCCI (PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, a regional chamber of commerce covering 11 Northern States and Union Territories of India). He retired from Public Service as Chairman of the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction. He has floated a charitable trust known as Poverty Alleviation through Generation of Employment Trust to provide employment opportunities to youth belonging to backward classes and rural areas.

Mr. Bhagwan Dass Narang  

Mr. Bhagwan Dass Narang is a Post Graduate in Agricultural Economics and brings with him 32 years of banking experience. During this period, he also held the coveted position of the Chairman and Managing Director of Oriental Bank of Commerce.

Mr. Narang has handled special assignments viz. Alternate Chairman of the Committee on Banking Procedures set up by Indian Banks Association for the year 1997-98, Chairman for the panel on Serious Financial Frauds appointed by RBI, Chairman for panel on Financial Construction Industry appointed by Indian Banks Association (IBA), appointed as Chairman of governing council of National Institute Of Banking Studies & Corporate Management, Chairman of IBA’s Advisory Committee. Also he is recipient of business standard “Banker of the Year” award for 2004.
